Privacy Policy

What we collect

If you submit your email through the launch-notification form on the homepage, we store the email address you provide plus the submission timestamp and approximate IP address (collected automatically by Netlify Forms for spam-prevention).

If you submit our contact form, we additionally store the name, topic, and message body you supply.

We do not currently use cookies. We use Google Analytics 4 and a first-party analytics collector (scout-analytics) for aggregate page-view data; neither sets persistent cross-site identifiers, and you can opt out via standard browser controls.

How we use your data

Email signups. We send occasional category-launch and city-launch notifications. We do not share or sell email addresses. You can unsubscribe at any time at /contact.

Contact-form submissions. We use them to reply to your enquiry. We may keep the message thread for our records.

Aggregate analytics. Pageview counts, referrers, and rough geographic regions help us understand which places people are looking for and where to expand coverage.

Where data is stored

Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify (USA), our hosting provider, under their privacy policy. Aggregate analytics are stored by Google (Google Analytics 4) and on our own infrastructure (scout-analytics, hosted on Netlify).

Your rights

You can request a copy of any data we hold about you, or request deletion, at any time. Email /contact with topic "Privacy / data deletion request" and we'll process it within 30 days.

If you're a California resident, the same applies under CCPA/CPRA — including the right to know, delete, and opt out of any "sale" or "share" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising. If we add Google AdSense in the future (which is treated as a "share" under CPRA), we will update this policy and make the opt-out available before doing so.

Children

RoamFound is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a minor has submitted information through the site, contact us and we will delete it.

Updates

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. For routine updates we reserve the right to revise without notice; for material changes (new tracking, new sharing, new revenue model) we'll add a notice.
